After Party

After Party shows hundreds of French and Belgian night club facades, shot in daylight. These still-active nightclubs show themselves in a new light: their neon and nocturnal ambiance replaced by a more mundane and less glittery reality.
They become then quite neutral buildings in semi-urban or rural zones, in the middle of industrial area or sugar beet fields.
Not without humour, and with a hint of nostalgia, François Prost wants also to pay tribute to the sometimes overdecorated designs and visual codes claimed by those places. An amazing reference for European signage & typography.
