Ens Veiem Als Encants

This book is an exploration of artist Malarko's collection of toys, market finds, bootlegs and strange objects collected over the years. 'See You at Els Encants' is a reference to Barcelona's large open air flea market, known for it's huge offering of second-hand goods & trinkets.

Originally used as references for ceramics, drawings and other works, the objects slowly became the inspiration for this book. Factory-made, slightly off, often unbranded, but full of character. Shapes, expressions and strange decisions in design. A kind of accidental creativity.
