Violently Happy

Violently Happy documents a series of scaled-down A3 multilayered screen prints made over discarded work and found printed matter of autobiographical relevance. By reusing and altering earlier pieces, Daniel David Freeman created dense compositions from minimal materials. The illustrations explore ideas of authorship within bootlegging as an art practice and comment on the impersonality of machine communication.
